Easter Bunny Fun at The Royal Oldham
We might be in the middle of lockdown, but there was still fun to be had this Easter when the Easter Bunny decided to make a surprise appearance at The Royal Oldham Hospital, much to the delight of patients and staff.
The services of the Easter Bunny were in great demand as a result of the many generous Easter egg donations made to the hospital by local residents and businesses in Oldham – and the Bunny stepped in to make sure that the eggs were delivered personally, but safely, to the young patients on the Children’s Ward and to our staff in Café Royal.
Simone Gorman, Assistant Director of Nursing for Paediatrics and Neonates at The Royal Oldham, said: “We’re over the moon with the many generous donations we’ve received from the local community in recent weeks and we can’t say thank you enough to everyone who donated Easter eggs and other treats for our patients and staff. Of course, we also need to say a big thank you to the Easter Bunny himself for taking the time out of his busy schedule to deliver the eggs to our patients.”
“It was such a brilliant surprise for the Easter Bunny to make an appearance and hand deliver our eggs. He definitely made the day of our young patients and staff.”
