Come and hear how the NCA will continue to deliver first class patient centred care at its hospitals

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group (NCA) is inviting local residents and trust members to a talk about how it will continue to deliver first class patient centred care at its hospitals in Salford, Oldham, Bury, Rochdale and North Manchester.

The free talk will take place at the Postgraduate Centre, North Manchester General Hospital, Delaunay's Road, Manchester, M8 5RB on Wednesday 12 February, from 2pm to 3pm.

The talk will explore the following topics:

  • What is patient or service user experience?
  • How will the NCA continue to deliver patient centred care, support and treatment?

The NCA brings together the Salford Royal and Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS trusts and operates five hospitals and community services in Salford, Oldham, Bury, Rochdale and North Manchester.

Joanne McAllister, Head of Patient and Service User Experience at the NCA, said:

“Patient experience is an important aspect of our work and we are striving to provide the best possible experience to our patients, service users, their families and carers.

“Every interaction matters, to ensure that our patients and service users are listened to, actively involved in their care and decision making processes, treated with care, compassion, respect and dignity.

“We are working with our teams to deliver this standard across all of our services.”

The NCA is continually engaging with its local communities to understand what matters most to its patients and service users.

Come along to the talk, which will be delivered by Joanne McAllister, and hear how the NCA plans to act on this feedback and drive improvements within the organisation.

People who are interested in supporting the NCA’s patient experience initiatives are also encouraged to attend to find out more about volunteering opportunities and what roles are available across the organisation.
