We are committed to providing excellent levels of service.


The Northern Care Alliance Library and Knowledge Service  - Service Standards


Provide immediate access for our staff, students and partners to all Library and Knowledge Services upon registration with the service.


Reference enquiries will be answered within the timescale agreed with the customer.


Literature searches will be carried out and sent to our customers within four working days of being requested, or within 1 working day if required for urgent patient care.


All requests for document supply requests will be initiated within one working day of receipt.


Documents requested by other library and knowledge services within the co-operative interlibrary loan schemes will be supplied within one working day of request.


Information skills training will be available to all staff and affiliated students.  It will be tailored to customer need and delivered by appropriately trained staff.


Our external accreditation score within the Library Quality Assurance Framework (LQAF) will remain greater than 90%.
