The Audiology Service provides excellence in care and is accredited by UKAS for both adult and paediatric services. The Audiology service was awarded a rating of good for both services in May 2017.
The Audiology Service provides Audiological assessments of hearing for all age groups. The Adult Audiology service also offers balance and tinnitus assessment including treatment.
Audiology runs an ear care service, which uses suction to remove wax and treats otitis externa in adults.
The service delivers digital hearing aids ensuring they are verified and continuously evaluated using current best practice methods.
Adults will require a referral from their GP or ear, nose and throat (ENT) consultant.
Audiology offers its services from Radcliffe Primary care centre, Tottington Health Centre Townside Primary Care Centre and domiciliary services for those who are house bound.

Repair clinic Monday to Fri, between 9am-12pm and 1-4pm. Appointments Monday to Friday between 8am - 6pm and occasional Saturdays 8am-2pm. Free parking available. Walking distance from the bus station and metrolink.
Tottington Health Centre - Wesley Street, Tottington BL8 4AD.
By appointment only, available Monday to Fri 8am-6pm. Free parking.
Townside Primary Care Centre - Knowsley St Bury BL9 0SN.
By appointment only, Monday to Friday 8am-6pm. Q Park pay parking available adjacent to centre

Opening Hours Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm and Friday 8am-5pm. The hearing aid repair services is open daily 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm, no appointment necessary.
