Macmillan Information and Support Service Scoping project

Macmillan and Pennine logos

What is the project about?

Macmillan Cancer Support and Pennine Acute Hospital NHS Trust have come together to understand the information and support needs from people affected by cancer both in hospital and out in your community. This will help to demonstrate the right Information and Support Service/s for the future within North Manchester, Borough of Rochdale, Bury and Oldham areas.

How to get involved

The project would love to engage with as many people as possible who have been affected by cancer to understand their needs and help build what the service could look like in the future.

  • Speak or email your cancer experience to Trudy or Debra
  • Attend a ‘Developing the Future’ event on 13th July 2017 10am-3pm at Middleton Masonic Hall
  • We can come along to your groups and activities to speak to people affected by cancer such as support groups, coffee mornings, exercise classes
  • To talk to us about the project in more detail
