CASS Service Scoops iNetwork Awards ‘Health Innovation Award’
THE Community Assessment and Support Service (CASS), part of The Northern Care Alliance’s North Manchester Care Organisation, has won the iNetwork Awards ‘Health Innovation’ award.
The award was presented to service manager Carol Kavanagh at a black tie awards evening ceremony and four course dinner in Manchester at the Marriott hotel on 30 January.
Carol Kavanagh, Community Assessment Support Service Manager at The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust said:
“I would like to say well done to the Community Assessment Support Service team on winning this award. I am so proud of all the team, they truly deserve this!”
Carol nominated the CASS team for the ‘Health Innovation Award,’ and the team was also shortlisted for the ‘Effective Service Redesign and Reform Innovation’ award.
The Community Assessment Support Service (CASS) in North Manchester is a new integrated service delivery model that was developed in partnership by The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, Manchester City Council and North Manchester Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The service was co-identified, co-designed and co-produced and has embedded a learning culture that has developed capability, capacity and confidence to work together.
iNetwork creates space for local public services organisations to deliver more innovative and cost effective support for individuals, families and communities across the North and Midlands.
The partnership plays a leading role in brokering knowledge between local public services and central government through 70+ events a year, 1:1 support, training in techniques like LEAN service improvement and guidance on information sharing and security.
