Ways to Donate

There are a number of ways you can donate to the charity including:

Online

We have teamed up with JustGiving so if you would like to make an online donation quickly and securely, simply visit our Just Giving page and click on the ‘donate’ button.

Text

You can now donate money via a mobile phone text. To do this simply text PAHC00 £10 to 70070. £10 is the highest donation people can make in one text, but you can also donate £1 or £5 in the same way.

Cheque

If you would like to make a cheque donation please send it to:

Pennine Acute Hospitals Charity
c/o Fundraising Office
Trust headquarters
North Manchester General Hospital
Delaunays Road
Manchester
M8 5RB

Cheques should be made payable to 'Pennine Acute Hospitals Charity' or 'PAHC', if you need space to write on the appeal, ward or department you would like it to go to.

Cash

Please do not put cash in the post. If you would like to donate cash please visit the general office on each site. If you have carried out a collection and want to hand some cash over, please arrange to meet with Shelley Owen who is always delighted to greet our supporters in person at our fundraising office.

Leave a legacy in your Will

Legacies form a major share of charitable income to the NHS and can be a tax effective way of donating money to your chosen hospital, ward or department after your death.  If you would like to help us to provide for future generations of patients in this way, you might like to consider remembering us in your will.  For further information and advice please click here or contact the Trust’s endowment section on 0161 921 4986.

In memorium

If at the time of a loved one's death you would like friends and family to donate to a particular ward or department please contact the fundraising office on  0161 908 4497 or email charity@pat.nhs.uk

Standing order

If you would like to set up a standing order with your bank then please contact the fundraising office on 0161 908 4497 or email charity@pat.nhs.uk

Payroll giving

Payroll giving is a scheme that enables employees to give to any UK charity directly from their gross salary and to receive immediate tax relief.  It is a regular and reliable form of tax-effective giving.  For further information on how to introduce this scheme within your workplace or to make a regular donation to any of our hospitals please contact the fundraising office on 0161 908 4497, email charity@pat.nhs.uk

Business Donations

Local businesses can make donations using any of the methods listed above. Alternatively businesses may wish to sponsor a service within one of our hospitals or donate a gift in kind by providing a service or goods.  If you would like further information on how you and your business can get involved please contact the Fundraising Office, who will be delighted to visit your organisation and discuss the benefits of tax effective donations and sponsorship opportunities for businesses.
