Tissue Viability Service - North Manchester

Who is the service for?   

Treatment of complex, acute and chronic wounds, leg ulcers, vascular assessment and maggot therapy. All appropriate referrals accepted.

What does the service provide?

Assessment, diagnosis and  treatment of complex, active and chronic wounds, offering

consultancy for healthcare professionals and domicillary and clinic based appointments. 

Object is to enhance healing where possible.

Who will patients meet while under your department/service’s care?

The patients will meet their named nurse who will care from them throughout their treatment who have the skills and competencies to manage their condition.

When is the service available?

Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30 excluding bank holidays
